Bed & Breakfast and Artist's Retreat
in Southern Oregon's Applegate Valley wine country, near Jacksonville & Applegate Lake
Our Upstairs Room has a window overlooking the garden and the hills to the east. It is a cozy room with cool colors. It has a comfortable queen bed and sleeping benches under the eaves to accommodate families or serve as a dormitory arrangement for groups. A small half-bath with toilet and sink is tucked into one corner. Showers may be taken in the large, sunny bathroom on the main floor; robes are provided.

A mezzanine at the top of the stairs offers a place to read, relax or talk on the phone outside the bedroom.  A sleeping nook, accessible by ladder, is available for the agile. A well-behaved, quiet dog may sleep in the mezzanine to be near the family (extra charge). No animals are allowed in the bedrooms.

"I've been to Hummingbird  several times, and have had the opportunity to stay in the upstairs guest room, which is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The curved stucco walls are part of what makes whole house naturally warm and inviting. Leslie and Dennis are wonderful hosts, very creative and interesting people. They made me feel at home, but also gave me a lot of privacy. Their dog Penny is one of the nicest dogs I know... My experience of the whole place has always been magical and definitely unforgettable."
